To: All Members of Rauceby Parish Council
I hereby give you notice that a Meeting of RAUCEBY PARISH COUNCIL will be held on Wednesday 15 July 2026 at no earlier than 7.30pm at Rauceby Village Hall. 
Between 7.30 pm and no later than 7.45 pm, prior to the start of the meeting, time will be allowed for residents to ask questions or make short statements to the Council. Items raised not on the agenda will not be debated, but if appropriate, will become an agenda item at a future meeting. Members of the public are expected to be polite, civil and respectful at all times during the meeting. Questions or statements in writing should be submitted by email to the Clerk by noon on the day of the meeting.

AGENDA OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING 15 July 2026 
1. Acceptance of office document to be signed by Vice-Chairman, Cllr M Ireland, being absent for the last meeting.
2. Apologies for absence: To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting. 
3. To receive any Declarations of Interest: To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011   being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members  Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.
4. To decide on any items to be carried out in Closed Session
To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the public bodies admission to meetings) act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed in relation to the following matters: Grass-cutting cost increases, item 12.
5. To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 20 May 2026 and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes.

7. Planning Applications Received from NKDC (This may include plans received since the agenda was circulated):
i. 26/0702/FUL| Erection of air scrubber systems on poultry units 2 and 3, ancillary agricultural chemical store and roof mounted solar pv panels on unit 3 (retrospective)|Boiling Wells Farm Grantham Road Greylees Sleaford Lincolnshire NG34 8QX. Respond by 09/07/26: No objections by Planning Sub-committee (MI, SE, MF). Responded to NKDC 06/07/26.
Plans decided by NKDC since the last meeting
ii. 25/1478/FUL| Proposed change of use of land from agricultural to use as a cattery and erection of a new cattery and garage. | Land to the Rear Of 72 Main Street, South Rauceby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 8QQ. No objections by full Council Meeting but with several comments. Responded with comments on 22/01/2026. Application approved by NKDC.
iii. 26/0427/HOUS| Erection of single storey rear extension, single storey rear link extension to outbuildings and internal & external alterations| Ivy House, Tom Lane, North Rauceby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 8QW. Respond before 03/05/26. No objections by Planning Sub-committee (GH, MI, MF, SE); response submitted to NKDC 22/04/26. Application approved by NKDC.
iv. 26/0535/HOUS| Single storey rear extension, increased roof height and addition of dormer window to create first floor bedrooms and re-roofing of garage to single pitch| 20 Southgate Spinneys, South Rauceby, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 8QF. No objections by full Council Meeting (May), response submitted to NKDC 28/05/26. Application approved by NKDC.
8. Matters Arising and New Business Notified to Clerk prior to meeting
i. Anti-litter campaign discussion (email circulated 20/02/26).
ii. Litter-picking equipment   top up supplies? (Cllr G Enstone).
iii. Emergency plan for the Village: Progress report (Cllr G Hall).
iv. County Councillor CVS Volunteering Scheme (email circulated 09/03/26).
v. Request by local business to install another average speed camera along A17 (Chair).
vi. Request by local business to clear storm water drains along A17 (Chair).
vii. Dog waste pavement fouling discussion (reported in March meeting).
viii. Any matters from the Open Meeting that may need following up. (Clerk).
ix. Proposed 30 mph limit in North Rauceby (email circulated 30/06/26).
x. Van parking on Main Street NR (Cllr P Ireland).
xi. Report back of any issues of interest from the recent NKDC forum (Chair).
xii. Discussion on how to encourage a greater attendance at the annual Open Meeting. (Clerk).

Date of Next Meeting   The next regular meeting will be held at about 19h30 on Wednesday, 16 September 2026 at the Rauceby Village Hall.

Matters which have been raised in meetings and which may be considered further at a future date:
* South Rauceby Well refurbishment: deferred until more appropriate. 
* Watching brief on requirement for EV charging points for the public and for residents who do not have off-road parking facilities (originally discussed March 2024).
* Councils  new duty to prevent sexual harassment: when more information becomes available about how compliance is to be managed the Clerk will prepare a policy document for adoption by the PC (originally discussed March 2024). 
* The Council shall keep a watching brief on the progress of the Rauceby Foundation re-wilding project at the plot of land on Main Street ear-marked for a public leisure area (originally discussed May 2024).
