To: All Members of Rauceby Parish Council
I hereby give you notice that a Meeting of RAUCEBY PARISH COUNCIL will be held on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at no later than 7.30pm at Rauceby Village Hall. 
Between 7.30 pm and no later than 7.45 pm, prior to the start of the meeting, time will be allowed for residents to ask questions or make short statements to the Council. Items raised not on the agenda will not be debated, but if appropriate, will become an agenda item at a future meeting. Members of the public are expected to be polite, civil and respectful at all times during the meeting. Questions or statements in writing should be submitted by email to the Clerk by noon on the day of the meeting.

AGENDA OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING 16 September 2026 
1. Apologies for absence: To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting. 
2. To receive any Declarations of Interest: To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011   being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members  Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.
3. To decide on any items to be carried out in Closed Session 
4. To approve as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 15 July 2026 and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes.
5. Reports from Visiting Representatives and Police Matters
6. Planning Applications Received from NKDC (This may include plans received since the agenda was circulated):
i. None.
      Plans decided by NKDC since the last meeting
ii. 26/0702/FUL| Erection of air scrubber systems on poultry units 2 and 3, ancillary agricultural chemical store and roof mounted solar PV panels on unit 3 (retrospective)|Boiling Wells Farm Grantham Road Greylees Sleaford Lincolnshire NG34 8QX. No objections by Planning Sub-committee. Responded to NKDC 06/07/26. NKDC approved the application.
7. Matters Arising and New Business Notified to Clerk prior to meeting
i. Anti-litter campaign: to discuss signage types
ii. Next litter-pick event: (Cllr G Enstone).
iii. Emergency plan: progress report (Cllr G Hall).
iv. Dog waste pavement fouling: signage.
v. Proposed 30 mph limit in North Rauceby: Feedback from LCC
vi. Van parking on Main Street: anything to report?
vii. Feedback from recent NKDC Forum
viii. Donations and Grants policy (draft circulated 12/08/26)
ix. Purchase Remembrance Day wreath.
x. Proposed meeting dates for next year:

xi. Annual Open Meeting attendance: Discussion on how to encourage a greater public attendance at the annual Open Meeting.
xii. Defibrillator maintenance: Purchase new battery (email circulated 12/08/26).

i. Financial report for approval and signing.
ii. Expenditure approval. 
iii. Savings account report ( 10,000 @ 2.75% for 1 year from 29/07/26).
iv. Clerk salary 2026/27 adjustment.
10. Any other business: Any matters which have arisen after the agenda was published.
Date of Next Meeting   The next regular meeting will be held at 19h30 on Wednesday, 18 November 2026 at the Rauceby Village Hall.

Matters which have been raised in meetings and which may be considered further at a future date:
* South Rauceby Well refurbishment: deferred until more appropriate. 
* Watching brief on requirement for EV charging points for the public and for residents who do not have off-road parking facilities (originally discussed March 2024).
* Councils  new duty to prevent sexual harassment: when more information becomes available about how compliance is to be managed the Clerk will prepare a policy document for adoption by the PC (originally discussed March 2024). 
* The Council shall keep a watching brief on the progress of the Rauceby Foundation re-wilding project at the plot of land on Main Street ear-marked for a public leisure area (originally discussed May 2024).
